WiW Superstars | December 2015

WiW Superstars is a new program that will feature women that have gone above and beyond to make WiW a success. Each month, we will recognize three leaders from our organization who have embodied the three pillars: connect, inspire and empower.

Please join us in congratulating our December superstars: Taiba Choudhary, Farzana Nasser and Liz Horowitz!

Taiba Choudhary is a Consulting & System Integrations Management Professional at Ericsson and
is responsible for sponsorships for WiW Seattle. Taiba has over 13 years of blended business and technical experience in managing large strategic engagements and practice areas focused on Telecoms, Data Analytics and IT within the global mobile industry. We want to recognize Tabia for her role in landing both T-Mobile and Ericsson shoporships for WiW Seattle. T-Mobile has been a corporate sponsor for Seattle since the first year of the Seattle chapter, thanks to Taiba. This year, she opened the door to discussions at Ericsson that resulted in a pledge of Global sponsorship from the Seattle office. This kind of sustaining sponsorship is vital to our the quality of our events, membership and speakers. Taiba’s wonderful energy and organization also make the WiW Seattle leadership team so much better.

Farzana Nasser is Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer at Gallop Labs, an award winning prescriptive mobile marketing platform that leverages a company’s first party data to apply customer intelligence to their marketing and communications. Farzana is also the Global Co-chair of the WiW Talent Networks and Partnerships Committee. We want to recognize Farzana for taking WiW Talent Networks and Partnerships to a new level. As Global Co-chair of the WiW Talent Networks and Partnerships Committee, Farzana launched the WiW Speakers bureau and secured partnerships w/a number of new conferences. Her WiW colleagues say she just on top of it, and is lovely and fun to work with at the same time.

Liz Horowitz is Co-Chair of the Executive Women's Initiative Committee for WiW. Liz has been in
mobile and digital media for 9 years. She’s a seasoned sales executive with 20+ years proactive and consultative experience navigating C-suite to build cross functional multi-tiered programs for Fortune 500 companies. We want to recognize Liz for rolling out the WiW Executive Women's Initiative, which produced two successful events this past year (in NY and SF). Additionally, she has developed and produced a WiW Podcast series to feature the stories of women leaders in the mobile industry. Liz embodies the values of WiW by connecting women with inspiring content and engaging the senior women in our community in new ways that haven’t been leveraged before.
